For most residential carpet cleaning, Mister Steamer uses professional truck-mounted extraction equipment.Truck-mounted cleaning provides powerful solution delivery, heat and vacuum recovery, allowing us to thoroughly rinse suspended soil from the carpet while recovering the cleaning solution back to the truck.

Rather than shampooing the carpet and leaving heavy detergent behind, our goal is to clean and rinse the fibres thoroughly while controlling moisture.

Light furniture can be moved where practical and agreed upon.

Beds, dressers, entertainment units and other heavy or fragile pieces should generally be moved beforehand if cleaning underneath is required.

We can also clean around larger furniture when moving it is unnecessary.

How Long Will My Carpet Take to Dry?

Drying time varies according to carpet construction, indoor humidity, airflow, temperature and the amount of cleaning required.Strong vacuum recovery and proper cleaning technique help remove as much moisture as practical during the cleaning process.Air movement and normal HVAC operation can help accelerate drying afterward.
